Our nation is blessed! Not only do we have the whole Bible in our language, but we have multiple versions of the whole Bible. One way we can help other nations is by participating with organizations that work to translate the Bible. Consider donating as a group to OneVerse – a branch of Wycliffe that works to translate the Bible.

The idea here is simple, but profound.  Check out this video to learn more!

Ready to join us?  Here’s how to begin:

1. Choose an African language to support for Bible translation.

2. Contact The Seed Company and identify a chapter or book to sponsor that is representative of the number of people or families in your group.  In other words, if you have 50 families in your group, locate a book of the Bible that has that approximate number of verses.

3. Create sign up boards or print out sign up sheets that represent the verses you desire to translate.

4. Encourage students and their families to sponsor a verse(s) of the chosen chapter or book at $25/verse. Students and their families can either give this amount or fundraise to raise the amount needed to adopt a verse or verses.

Together we can #harnessthepowerofcommunity and make an impact on the work of Bible translation in Africa!
