I’m a chronic self-evaluator.  I find myself – very often – evaluating my life and wondering if the things I’m doing are making a difference?  Are the things I’m doing needful?  Are they making an eternal impact?

Recently, I came across a resource, a challenge really, that only requires a couple of minutes per day, but I believe it can change the world.  Actually, I believe it will change the world.

From our pastor’s leading and teaching and preaching, along with growing anti-Christian tensions in the world, I’ve been developing a deepening desire and conviction to pray for the salvation of the nations.

I’ve known about and used Window on the World for years with my children.  In fact, it is even used as a part of the Passport to the Nations curriculum.  However, until recently, I did not know about the prayercasts available through the Operation World website and prayercast.com.

I must confess that for years the Operation World book sat on my shelf collecting dust.  For someone like me who is a highly kinesthetic learner – that book required just a little too much sitting still!  So much information. Window on the World (for children!) was about my speed 🙂  But my pastor directed us to the prayer videos on the Operation World website…. and those prayer videos have rocked my prayer world!  I LOVE THEM!!  Each of the Prayercasts features a native person praying for his or her own country.  These prayers are heartfelt, sincere and informed.  I can pray along – letting their prayers inform me and at the same time, motivate me…. To pray more.  To pray earnestly.  To pray passionately.

Listen along.  Pray along.

It will change your life.  It will change the world.

Maybe even take on the 60 Day Prayer Challenge.

“Join people from every nation.  Pray for people in every nation.” (from Operation World website)

Join me and let’s spend a couple of minutes each day doing something that will change the world!
